The ideal candidate will demonstrate logical thinking, is very detail-oriented, and has a positive and enthusiastic personality. An ideal candidate must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience is not required, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting patients with a smile as they arrive at the practice.
- Schedule appointments and manage the practice calendar.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Utilize technology to enhance patient care and streamline practice operations.
- Provide compassionate and patient-focused service.
- Synthesize data and use critical thinking to make logical decisions.
Qualifications

Work Hours
- 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM most days
- Schedule may vary, but you will average about 35 hours per week.

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented medical assistant who is a great multitasker to join our team. An ideal candidate must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience is not required, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist podiatrist with patient care and treatment procedures.
- Follow detailed treatment algorithms and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Utilize technology to enhance patient care and streamline practice operations.
- Provide compassionate and patient-focused care.
- Work autonomously within established guidelines.
- Synthesize data and use critical thinking to make logical decisions.
- Help with patient exams, procedures, and treatments by taking notes, preparing equipment, passing instruments, and performing other tasks as directed by the doctor.
- Perform pre-treatment foot exams, apply wraps and bandages, assist with minor surgical procedures, assist in at-risk foot care, and collect patient health information.
- Assist in special wound care treatment.
- Sort and store supplies. Re-stock exam rooms, clean exam areas, and set up instruments and equipment. Clean sterilizing equipment according to the maintenance schedule.
- Willingness to learn and ability to adapt. Candidates should be receptive to feedback in order to excel in this position.
